Started as a speed paint, but I've continued to work on it a bit longer. Not too much just to make it more readable.. Also tried few different ways to scribble patterns and such. Anyway, hope you like it :)

Light of Minas Anor

Tried getting more painterly feeling on this picture. And i think i never did lighting on face from bottom, so it was good practice. Started with my usual horrid 2 minute sketch, and used color and overlay layers to add color. After that i just try to find shapes to make it look better. Warlord

War is hell... so I made evil looking warlord who just burned down some village. Started with gray scale scribble on which I've set up lighting, all I knew I wanted it dark. First I've put bluish sky but I really didn't like it, so I changed it to blend with picture better. Just picked color from bottom with eyedropper tool and gone over with it. Added sword because whats a warlord without a weapon, made it glowing with flame kinda thing... Anyway thank You for reading and here are screen shots of Warlord process.
